Plein Air Easton 2019 - Small Painting

I never found coneflowers particularly paint worthy. They're somewhat awkward as flowers go. Kimberly pointed out to me how beautiful they looked in the sun as we took a break late one afternoon this week, and it was then that I realized I wanted to paint this flower.
