Patrick Saunders Painting Kits now at Judsons Art Outfitters

Good news - another online retailer is now offering the paint kits Jack Richeson & Co. put together for Patrick Saunders painting workshops.

Judsons Art Outfitters now carries Patrick Saunders painting kits on their website. There are three kits: a set of Patrick's favorite Grey Matters brushes, a complete set of his paints, and a third kit that includes all of his paints and brushes. Judsons is also offering a discount on these kits that is about 30% off of what you would pay if you ordered the items in these sets individually.

If you're signed up for one of Patrick's workshops and need supplies, or if you just want to try paints and brushes he uses, click here to check out the kits:

Plein Air Painting - The Sun Breaks On Point Reyes

For #throwbackthursday, a Patrick Saunders Fine Arts piece painted three years ago this month for the 2015 Sonoma Plein Air Art Festival.

If you've ever been to the Point Reyes Lighthouse in California, you know it's a bit of a hike in and out in order to make a painting like this, but Patrick found this landmark well worth the effort.

We first visited Point Reyes National Seashore in 2012 when we lived in San Francisco, California. The fog was so heavy on that particular day that you couldn't even see the ocean, you could only hear waves crashing below, but it only added to the beauty of the place and the experience.
